Common Names Cause Problems

     When I named my son 25 years ago David Garcia I never thought I would dislike his name so much.  My son got a speeding ticket a couple of months ago and he had to go to court.  I went with him because he he needed a ride and did not know where the court was located.  When they called him to go in front of the judge, they started to mention a list of charges and even a warrent for arrest from San Gabriel.  I was suprised and when my son started to try and tell the judge that those were not his the judge told him not to speak till she gave him a turn.  She finally asked him if he accepted the charges and he said no that was not him.  She did not listen to him and she just kept telling him if he accepted the charges because he was also getting angry telling her it was not his charges.  She told him he was being held in contempt of court and that there were three warrants for his arrest.  Before my very eyes the sheriff had put the handcuffs on him and pushed him torward the door.  My son kept yelling  Mom, Mom help me!!!  The judge asked me to leave the court and if I wanted to help my son she suggested I get a lawyer because he was going to need one.  Till today he is in jail just because someone put the wrong information in his file.  We have to wait almost two weeks for a court hearing and during all this time they are not giving him bail and I can not see him.  The charges were for some other David Garcia not his.  The clerk told me that in their system they had over a thousand David Garcia.  When naming your baby give them a unique name not a common one.

SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE

     This chemical is known as the sudsing ingredient found in shampoos,soaps, and other products that make suds.  There is research that proves that it can cause irritation in the eyes, skin, and scalp.  This chemical can be absorbed into the scalp and skin from the use of shampoos and other products.  Another form of this chemical sodum lauryl sulfate which is much stronger is known to cause cancer. 

     In my opinion if the other form of this chemical is known to cause cancer what is to say that with time or with excessive and continuous use of these products there is a chance of suffering from a cancerous situation.  This ingredient is also found in products that we use for our new born babies, their skin is so delicate and thin  it could have sever effects that we can not forsee. 

      The suds are a sign that we believe means that it is cleaning but, do we really need to see the bubbles?  At what expense or risk do you need the suds?  Do we really need bubble bath for our babies and expose them to dangerous cancerous causing chemicals?

Moving

I have to move.
I hate moving, my children hate moving.
My boyfriend hates moving.
The packing.
The cleaning.
Taking the furniture apart.
Loading the truck.
Unloading the truck.
Putting the furniture together again.
Fixing everything, making it fit.
Unpacking!!!!!
I am tired already.
I was just thinking about it.
I have not even started.
Moving day is Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GRANDMA TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY

Today is my grandson's birthday he is 6 years old.
He calls me early at seven in the morning, "Grandma, Grandma today is my birthday!"
Yes, Yes, mijo Happy Birthday !!!!!!
You are a very silly boy I was suppose to call you not you. 
He laughs and tells me he is going to get dressed I told him I would call him after school.

Later I tried calling my daughter and there was no answer.
Finally I received a call from my daughter.  It was my grandson Travis. 
I asked him are you out of school?  He said no, then why are you calling me? I asked.
I took my mom's cell so I would get your call.  I didn't want to miss it. 

Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The things he does.  I asked him to let me talk to his teacher and he went to call her.  The teacher asked him where he got the cell and finally she answered me.  I explained and she agreed to keep the cell till his mother picked him up.   I think he is going to be in trouble.
What a Birthday

REBECCA

 My teenage daughter Rebecca is a handfull.
Her sisters tell me I made her that way, could it be true?
She wants everything on the dot, if I say in five minutes it has to be in five minutes.
She is demanding of my time and my attention.
When she gets in the car she is the only one talking.

Rebecca is my nineteen year old daughter.
She is the fourth girl out of five.
She gets to play mom when I am at school or at work.
She forgets to let go of her power when I come home.

Rebecca is so outgoing but, she is also stuborn.
She gets so mad when things don't go her way.
She doesn't think that there are accidents that ruin her plans.
She is growing up but, in my eyes she will always be a baby.

Exercise to keep healthy

About two weeks ago I got a call from the doctors office that my lab tests had come back positive for very high cholesterol.  The doctor was very concerned and wanted to see me immediately in his office.  When I met with him he said that the highest a person could have cholesterol was 150 and my test showed 500 that was far beyound the limits.  He was putting me on medication and on a diet immediately he was shocked at how I can feel okay with all this cholesterol.  I was terribly scared high cholesterol is the cause of a heart attack or a anerism something like that.  Anyway it wasn't good.  So now everymorning I do a hour of cardio, core, and yoga.  I keep a strick diet following a guide that he gave me.  It is so tireing but I am more afraid of having a heart attack I do not want to be sick.  My children are still small and I am all they have

Sunday at the Fair

Today I took my grandchildren to church what a experience one hour of trying to spend some time in church it was a challenge but I survived.  The church had their fall fair this weekend and I took them to the rides.  They had so much fun I hated to tell them it was time to go home.  But they were okay, after I told them we would get some ice cream on the way home.  Once we got home it was take clothes off and shoes.  I started to make them a carne asada on the barbequer.  It is days like this that I like to do the cooking outside it helps keep the house cool and it is a little faster.  Soon we were eating outside and had a nice afternoon.  My children started to arrive to pick up there children and soon they were all gone.  Wow!!!! All gone now time to enjoy some quiet time and do some homework.

Come Pick them up

I have had all my 9 grandchildren with me since yesturday that we went to the beach after I took them to the fair and then it was time to come home.  Diaper changing and bottles and putting them to sleep wow its so much work.  I felt this morning so tires.  I still had to give baths, get them dressed, give breakfast, diapers, bottles, and more diapers before going to church and get my self ready.  Well I finished with everything with the help of my daughter and son.  I have some time left before going to church so I started to call everyone and make sure they come to pick them up.  I am trying to write my blogs between diapers and bottles wow we need them to go home. My son and daughter are waiting to send them home and enjoy our peace and quiet again.  It was fun and tiring for the weekend.

My grand children

I spend my birthday with some of my grandchildren.  It was a wonderful day to spend with them some of my best days are when I have them all over.  My oldest daughter Mariana lives in Long Beach and shge brought my first granddaughter Sussie who is 9 years old, my grandson Edwin Jr who is 7 years old, my third grandson Travis who is 5 years old and my nineth grandson Ethan who is 3 weeks old.
 
Then my son David arrived with my fourth granddaughter Lalene who is 3 years old and my seventh grandson David Jr. who is 2 years old and they are expecting my tenth grandchild.

Later my daughter Byanka arrived with my fifth granddaughter Jazlene who is 3 years old and my sixth grandson who is 2 years old.

Last of arrived my daughter Marcy with my eighth granddaughter Roxanne who is 9 months old.

I was so excited to have all of them we packed up and went to Redondo Beach where I had so much fun playing with them in the water and putting them in the sand and making sand castles. 

By next year I will have one more wow I think I will need a fifteen passenger van.

My Birthday

My birthday was on Saturday September 15.  It is a very special day in all of Latin America.  Almost all of the countries in Latin America celebrate their Independence on this day.  Different years but the same day. In Mexico it was the day of the Grito de Dolores.  The day that they won the war and the grito was when Dolores Hidalgo proclaimed the independence war had been won.  So every year each school participates in a parade and the band plays.  Some schools have a dance festival and they have like a fair with rides and shows.   There are fireworks at night and there is a game that they play which is like bingo but it is called Loteria.  I guess in a way all of Mexico celebrates my birthday!!!!!

Friday Night Dinner

Friday night dinner was exciting!  I went with my boyfriend to dinner at Red Lobster just to find out how much shrimp my boyfriend could eat.  When I mentioned to him that they had an all you can eat shrimp special he was curious. He bet me $100.00 we would only get one extra serving and   that would be all.  So I decided to accept the bet.  We decided to go and try it out.  We had a 20 minute wait which was not bad, as soon as we were at our table we ordered drinks and then  I ordered appatizers:   fried calamari and broccoli and stuffed lobster mushrooms, it came with a sause and it was gooood.  I ordered the All You Can Eat Shrimp Special:  Terriyaki Shrimp, Alfredo Linguinni Shrimp, Hand battered Shrimp, and Shrimp Scampi.  It was really good we tasted all of them and I liked the Terriyaki Shrimp and the Shrimp Scampi, my boyfriend liked all of them except the Alfredo Linguini Shrimp he is not a fan of pasta.  He had five orders and I had two and I won my  $100.00 it was great.

HELLLLLPPPPP

Wow!!!!! Creating this blog has made me feel so fustrated and I realized how much I need computer help.  I asked my children and step children to help me and it has taken me all day to figure this out.  So I hope I did everything right if not professor please let me know.  The problem with allowiing comments I don't know where to find that so please let me know step by step sorry for so much trouble.  Maria
